Wherever possible we use locally sourced, second hand, vintage and recycled products.

We spend many happy hours searching for the buttons and braids, ribbons, fabrics, fibres and fleeces that go into every Craft-ee Wenches kit.

We have a range of kits to suit everyone from beginners to experienced felters. Scarves, hats, bags, slippers & tea cosies. We also stock a lovely range of alpaca fibres, merino wool tops and Thai silk. Our embellishment packs are generous and have a great range of vintage and antique supplies in them. Suitable for scrapbookers, quilters, felters and all sorts of craft projects.

We are also committed to contributing something positive to the people who produce the yarns, fibres and fabrics that go into making your Craft-ee Wenches kits and embellishment packs.

Alpaca are native to south America yet the ones who have produced the fibres in your pack live with Cheryl & Robbert Cook at Quilca Farm in Gippsland, Victoria. The merino wool is sourced from a supplier in northern Victoria and the Thai silk is sourced from a village 3 hours north of Bangkok where the money we spend on these silks goes directly to the people who have produced it, enabling them to educate and house their families.

A true meeting of the world.

We encourage you to search out your own crafty embellishments at charity shops, garage sales and second hand merchants to make your own truly unique bags, scarves and fabric. By doing this you will not only contribute to recycling and reusing ethos but will in turn become a Craft-ee Wench in your own right! We hope you have as much fun using our products as we have had putting them together.

Happy Felting
